Pack 305 is one of the oldest Cub Scout packs in NE Miami-Dade. For over 60 years, Pack 305 has been chartered by St. Rose of Lima School located at 415 NE 105 Street, Miami Shores, FL. We meet in Scout Hall on the church campus. Den meetings take place once a week and we meet as a pack once a month. Pack 305 belongs to the Biscayne Bay District of the Boys Scouts of America (BSA), which is part of the South Florida Council (BSA).

We offer well planned activities at each den level and fun pack events, which include family camping, service projects, field trips and the famous pinewood derby races. Our program follows the school year schedule from September to May. We do not meet during school holidays. We meet together as a pack once a month during the summer. Scouting is lots of fun!

The Cub Scout program is carefully planned by leaders. All activities have a purpose in which Scouts learn new skills and expand their understanding of the world around them. Your involvement is critical to your son's advancement. Cub Scouts need their parents assistance in completing certain assignments. Your support is essential in helping your Scout advance and continue his interest in Scouting.

Pack 305 is an all volunteer pack. We have den leaders and parents that generously volunteer their time and expertise to provide the Cub Scout program to the boys. All leaders are trained following the Boy Scouts of America guidelines. We encourage all parents to volunteer their time and experience the fun of Cub Scouting!

At Pack 305 all Scouts must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to all den and pack events. All adults must complete the BSA Youth Protection training and Virtus training required by our chartered organization.

Pack 305 holds several fundraisers each year to cover costs associated with running the pack. Yearly dues are $150 per Scout, $25 for parents (includes both), $120 for siblings, which includes adult and youth yearly BSA recharter fees and insurance, book, some den materials, pack events, awards and a subscription to Boys Life Magazine. There is a $25 one time fee for new Scouts. Camping and some activities are not included in the yearly fee.
